The Cycle Hamilton Region Bicycle Club has been formed to support and encourage safe and enjoyable bicycling for fun, health, and transportation in this area. 

The club is affiliated with the Cycle Ontario Alliance (COA), which has a similar mission for the province of Ontario. See www.cycleontario.ca for more information about the provincial organization. 

Your membership in the Cycle Hamilton Region Bicycle Club will support:

            Weekly local group rides in season.
            COA-sponsored multi-day tours in various parts of Ontario.
            Cycling skills training courses for all ages.
            An Annual Bike Week celebration.
            Discounts on bikes, cycle clothing, racks, and other equipment.
            Work with the Municipality towards safer, more enjoyable bikeways
                        -Bike lanes on busy urban streets|
                        -Paved shoulders on busy, high-speed roads
                        -Trails through scenic rural areas
            Promotion of more convenient and secure bicycle parking.
            Work with Police Services on effective prevention of bicycle theft.
            Work with schools and local employers to promote cycle commuting.
            Maps and route guides of the best cycling routes in this area and throughout Ontario.
